This book needs no introduction, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is one of the most recognized books for children aged 8+ and does not go against its fame! 
Greg Hefley asked for a journal that he specifically asked to not have 'Diary" on the front. His wish was denied and he got one with you guesses it, Diary, on the front.
Greg battles Middle School with his best friend Rowley and withstands his brothers along the way. I would 100% recommend this book to someone who might not like reading, and for everyone!
