Around the World in 80 Days is a well known classic
by Jules Verne who, highly respected in the UK, is a French citizen. After being through multiple editors, Around the World in 80 Days has been cleared of any British offence by the previous publishers.
Well known by the 2021 series, Around the World is about Phineas Fogg and his travel companion Passepartout as they travel around the World after a bet at the Reform club, in, hence the name, 80 days.

Age
As Around the World in 80 days is a classic from the 19th century before reading it you must be notified that some information may be out of date and inappropriate for some younger children. This does not mean the book itself is inappropriate, as most information is appropriate. Around the World is a hard book to give an age rating to as it is hard to keep track with the events taking place, however I would say ages 10-12 would enjoy and understand it the most.
